Questions?

Which location will the make up take place on my wedding day ?
I will travel to the agreed location, whether that’s your home, friends/relatives home or wedding venue itself.  Being close to the A3 and M25 a hour radius of Byfleet is my commutable distance.

When should I book my trial (how soon before the wedding)?
The wedding season is now all year round and dates do get booked quickly.  I  would recommend that you book your trial as soon as possible and at least 3 months in advance.  Trials need to be done in daylight so that the colours are clearly visible.

Where will the trial take place ?
The initial makeup trial again can be the venue of your choice, providing it is within my commutable area.

How long will the trial take?
Usually about an hour.  This ensures that we can chat about the look you wish to achieve and that I can complete a detailed profile ready for the return visit.

If I decide that I do not wish to book Image of Beauty for my wedding day – how much is the trial ?
In the unlikely event that you do not wish to book me for your make up a fee of £60 will be charged for the trial.

Do you use a variety of cosmetics?
Yes, I use a selection of cosmetics and one which I feel suit the client and the occasion.  If you have sensitive skin or have any allegories, please let me know prior to the booking.

How to I secure your services on my wedding day?
A deposit of £50 would be required at the trial or within 7 days to secure the booking.  I only commit to one wedding per date to ensure that you are given my full attention and that timings are never an issue.

How long will be wedding make up take on the day?
Usually about 30 mins and 20 mins for each other bridal party member.  Please bear in mind if you have a large party and an early wedding, it may be an early start.
Upon arrival I will start with the bridesmaids/mum, this will ensure that the brides make up is a fresh as possible.  Please note that your hair should be finished prior to your make up.  The heat of tongs/hairdryer is not conducive to a fresh looking face.

Will my make up last?
Your make up has been applied to last all day.  However I would recommend that you purchase the same lipstick/gloss that has been applied so that you can touch this up throughout the day – remember all those kisses!.

What happens if I cannot attend on your wedding day – i.e I am ill ?
In this most unlikely event, I would make every effort to ensure a colleague could attend.  Failing this a full refund would be made including your deposit.

When is the balance payment due?
Any outstanding monies are due on the day of the wedding.  This includes additional bridal party members (mother of the bridge, bridesmaids etc).  I do not have the facility to accept credit or debit cards, cash and personal cheques are fine.

What if I change my mind or wish to  cancel the booking?
Cancellations must be made at least 10 weeks prior to the wedding.  Unfortunately I am unable to return deposits in the event of a cancellation.
